Woodside’s Mural Project

In November 2025, a vibrant mural project featuring white silhouette figures of people painting and posing against a black wall was actively underway at the Disha Event Management building in Woodside, New York.


Bangali New Year

Artist Aisle NY proudly unveils its exclusive motif collection for the 2025 Bengali New Year (Pohela Boishakh), meticulously crafted to capture the vibrant spirit of Shubho Noboborsho. Inspired by the joyous Mangal Shobhajatra processions, traditional alpana designs, and the lush renewal of spring harvest, these motifs blend contemporary artistry with timeless Bengali heritage. Available in limited-edition prints, textiles, and digital assets, the collection invites global celebrants to adorn their spaces with symbols of prosperity, cultural pride, and festive exuberance—perfect for welcoming Bengali Year 1432 on April 15. Theater

During the 20th South Asian Theatre Festival on June 14, 2025, at the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center, the artist worked on the aisle set design.


Mural

In March 2023, the innovative collective known as Artist Aisle collaborated with a passionate group of local artists to create a stunning and vibrant community mural in the heart of the Bronx, transforming a blank wall into a colorful celebration of Bangladeshi American culture, urban diversity, and creative expression through intricate motifs of rickshaws, traditional Bengali patterns, and stories of immigrant resilience.


Sculpture

In 2022, Artist Aisle, with the help of a group of talented artists, created a sculpture of the Doel, the national bird of Bangladesh. The sculpture was installed at 70-17 37th Avenue (on Broadway) Jackson Heights, New York


Children’s painting competition

On February 16, 2020, Artist Aisle collaborated with the organization BIPA to host a vibrant children’s painting competition in the Bangladeshi community of New York, in celebration of International Mother Language Day. The event encouraged young artists to express their creativity while honoring the rich heritage and cultural significance of the day, fostering a sense of pride and unity among the participants and their families.

In April 2019, Artist Aisle Inc. collaborated with several local artists to create two beautiful murals at Belazino Party Hall in Jackson Heights, New York. The project brought together a vibrant mix of creativity and community spirit, transforming the venue’s walls into a celebration of local art and culture.

On January 18, 2019 Artist Aisle cooperated with Combined Cultural Alliance North America celebrate their 20th Anniversary at the Jewish Centre of Jackson Heights, New York. Artist Aisle created the event’s logo, poster design, backdrop design, newspaper ad, television commercial, and social media content. Part of the event includes an art show which Artist Aisle helped curate. Artist Aisle displayed the artwork, designed and printed the show’s catalog. Assemblywoman Catalina Cruz and Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to the United Nations, Mr. Masud Bin Momen inaugurated the celebratory event

Artist Aisle Inc. Announces the Unveiling of the Community Mural at Bronx

New York (November29, 2016)- The nonprofit organization ‘Artist Aisle’ is pleased to announce the unveiling ceremony of a new mural, entitled ‘Bangladesh’ at 2099 Starling Ave, Bronx on Sunday. December 4, 2016 at 5pm. Ii is designed and created by New York-based Bangladeshi American artist Tipu Alam, founder of Artist Aisle Inc. The enormous 10’ (H) x 30’ (W) mural is displayed on a wall, corner of Starling and Olmstead Ave.

The mural ‘Bangladesh’ represents the roots of Bangladeshi-Americans. It tells the rich history of Bangladesh’s independence through two prominent monuments. The Mural ‘Bangladesh’ is a collaborative effort of Tania Beauty Salon and Artist Aisle Inc.
